To display, demonstrate and disseminate news of the latest automobiles in the country a forum was utmost needed. This initiative was taken by Global Expositions and Management Service Pvt. Ltd. by organizing 1st Auto Show and 2nd Auto Show in co-operation with Nepal Automobile Dealers Association. With an objective to provide the appropriate forum for the automobile sector to market their products and services, 3rd NADA Auto Show 2004 was organized by Global Exposition & Management Services Pvt. Ltd. jointly with Nepal Automobile Dealers Association (NADA).
The event was inaugurated by Honorable Labour and Transport Minister. The event was aimed to provide a single platform to Nepalese and foreign participants from the automobile sector to interact with each other and to explore the possibilities of mutually beneficial collaboration.
3rd Nepal Auto Show 2004 that kicked off on Feb 18th 2004 gathered an overwhelming response. Encouraging number of visitors witnessed the grand event that was held after two years. Most of the commoners flocked to have a glimpse of the latest market hitting vehicles. The enthusiastic crowd of youths gathered around the stalls of two wheelers. Potential buyer's visitors were from corporate houses, institutions, embassies, consulates prominent citizens and general public as well. The charismatic response both from visitors and exhibitors had made the event the only mega event of its kind in Nepal.
It was proved the most useful and ideal platform for the automobile sector in Nepal to promote the industry in general and to enhance the status and image of this sector in Nepal.
More than 70 exhibitors participated covering an area of 35000 sq.ft. Latest Models on display and new product launching were a great charm of the show. Special Arrangement for Auto Loan was provided by different banking and financial institutions.
Awareness programs on automobile sector and traffic were organized as seminar and talk programs. Entertainment programs such as food festival, celebrities visit were held everyday. Door prizes such as bike, TV, refrigerator, music system, etc, were there in the entrance tickets.
Around fifty thousand visitors witnessed the grand event during five days. In summary NADA Auto Show 2004 was a grand show for entire Nepalese Automotive Market with promises to repeat its own history in days to come.
